この本は、絵本とはいっても、美術的価値が高い。
画集と言ったほうがいいかもしれない。
この本には、目の錯覚を利用した絵や、１つの事例に対し、
視点を変えてみた作品が多く、一枚一枚、見ていてその発想が楽しい。

この絵本の中で一番気に入ったのが、ワインを中心に世界を裏返して

みた作品。ワインのビンの外側にワインの海があり、ビンの中に全ての
世界が入っている。というもの。
これは、言葉ではなく、実際に見て感じ取れるものだと思うので、
ぜひ一度は、みる価値のある作品だと思う。

安野さんは、他にもたくさんの絵本や画集をだしているが、どれも視点、
発想が面白く、子供も大人も一緒に楽しめる作品だと思う。

画風も出所も描いた時期もばらばらではあるが、
ありえないシチュエーションを「空想」し、視覚化する、
というテーマに沿った作品集。

普通の絵本ではないので、読み聞かせ等には不向きだが
安野光雅氏の着想と絵本つくりの種明かしとも云え
氏の世界を理解するに興味深い。
