財産争いの中殺されてしまった祖父。
しかも次の日には前日にもどっていることを体験した主人公の“久太郎”。
どうやら時間のループを経験するのは自分のみ。

何とか祖父の死亡を阻止しようと頑張るのですが、
どうやってもその日の終わりには祖父は亡くなってしまいます。

久太郎の高校生らしくない年よりじみた言動といい、ストーリー内容といい

かなり面白かったです。
シリアスというよりはコメディ感覚でミステリーを楽しめますよ。
おススメです。

5.0 out of 5 stars 気が付けばいつの間にか自分も「反復落とし穴」の罠に…, 2006/8/30
西澤保彦氏の文才が余すところに出ているこの本書。
てっきり推理サスペンスかと思いきや、なんと時間跳躍ものだとは、
読むまで全然気が付かなかった…。
しかし非常に面白いです。

主人公は名探偵ではなく、ただの高校生と言う設定。
そのため、何度も何度も失敗を重ねて事件を紐解いていく、と言う過程が非常に面白かったですね。
また、主人公は9回ほど同じ1日をやりなおせるのですが、
その9回ごとに話数がちゃんと区切られているのも話を読みやすくしています。

こうした時間跳躍ものを推理小説の舞台でやるとこんなにも面白くなるとは、
リセットできる回数にも限りがあるのも緊迫感が出ており、次のループはどうなるんだろうと先の展開が気になってしょうがなかったですｗ

最後の展開でもあっと驚く説明がなされ…。
自分は納得できましたけど…。人によっては微妙かもしれませんね（汗

文庫本一冊で非常に読みやすい本書、お暇な方は一度読んでみてはいかがでしょう？オススメの一冊ですよ。

同じ日が9回も繰り返されるという特異体質（？）を持った高校生が、反復される日の中で起きてしまった殺人事件を次の周までに回避しようと骨を折るというお話です。本格推理においては起きてしまった殺人事件の真相を後から明らかにすることしかできないのが普通ですが、この変わった設定によって、事件を防ごうと奮闘する動的な作品に仕上げることに成功しています。タイムスリップものが好きな人にも本格推理が好きな人にも勧められる作品です。

最後に無事に事件を防ぐことができてハッピーエンドというなら単なるタイムスリップSFなのですが、いまひとつ釈然としない部分を残しておき、最後の最後でその謎解きが明かされるという構成が見事。こういうオチはSF的設定がなければ絶対に無理なわけで、SFと本格の融合に単なる興味本位ではない必然性を感じさせます。
