数学者も手計算でなく、電卓やパソコンを使う時代がやってきました。

数学を勉強している人間には、手軽に使えるインタプリタ型のプログラミング言語が欲しいですね。あなたの数学学習にも ＩＴ革命をもたらしましょう！それに応えてくれるのが、(仮称)十進BASIC言語です。数学学習のために最適な以下のような機能・特色を持っています。

１. 数値計算の計算可能桁数、精度がはっきりしていること。Ｃ, Ｃ++ では int, double など型を使い分けなければいけないし、内部で十六進計算をしているので誤差の問題がある。名前の通りこのBASIC は十進計算に基づき精度に関して配慮がなされている。

２. 簡単にグラフ描画ができること。Ｃ，Ｃ++ はグラフィックライブラリを利用した難解なプログラミングが必要、Visual Basic でも決して扱いが簡単とは言えない。十進BASIC では、標準でグラフ描写を考慮した強力なグラフィック機能が備えられ、次のコードだけで簡単にグラフを出力できる(行番号は必ずしも必要ではない)。

３.当然のごとく三角関数、逆三角関数、指数関数、対数関数から整数論に必要なガウスの記号関数、余りを求める関数まで、必要最低限の関数がある。また行列や複素数などを扱う機能も備えられている。

４. これが最大の長所ですが、無料ソフトであること。つまり「タダ」です。

ユーザーフレンドリーな十進BASIC言語は、オンラインヘルプだけで使いこなせる環境ですが、どうしても本で基本操作やプログラミングの基礎を学びたい方にはこの言語の標準入門書である本書の利用をお勧めします。

十進BASICは、COBOLとともに、事務計算に向いています。
どちらも日本ではあまり流行っていません。
本当に便利なものを使いこなす習慣があると、計算力もあがると思われます。
