　筆者はアサヒビールを社長として復活させた経営者である。本書は著者の人材についての考えを明らかにしたものである。

　筆者の前提として全ての人間は何らかの能力を持っているという認識がある。筆者はその認識に基づいていかにその人の能力を引き出していくかを論ずる。もちろん、普通のビジネスマンに対する記述もあるが、特に上司の立場に立った記述が多く、上司がどのようにして部下と接していくべきかが詳細に述べられているように思われる。

　真新しい記述は少ないように思われるが、管理職にある人にとっては自分が部下にどのように接しているかを見なおす機会を与えてくれる本であると思う。

まず著者については特にこの場で説明することもないと思います。

本書は親切で優秀な上司がビジネスマンとしての心得を教えてくれているといった感じの内容です。ビジネスの世界で実績のある著者だけに説得力があります。手元に置いておき、たまに読んでみると気持ちも新たに仕事に取り組めるのではないかと思います。
