本書に対して、レビュアーなどという汚らしい立場から、☆をいくつなどとつけることに躊躇する。なぜなら、評者はここに書かれていることが、よくわからないからだ。「わからない」というのは、文字通り「わからない」ということであり、そこには揶揄的な中傷は一切含まない。

以前から、作者がフォイエルバッハに言及しているらしいことは、新聞か雑誌かで読んで知っていた。学生時代から評者はマルクスの「フォイエルバッハ・テーゼ」に随分と悩まされてきたし、フォイエルバッハ研究者の河上睦子の『フォイエルバッハと現代』に大きな刺激を受け、先ごろ刊行された同じ著者の『宗教批判と身体論』を現在読みつつある。
フォイエルバッハの岩波文庫に入っているものも、折に触れて読んではいる。

本書は、以上のような個人的経緯もあって気になっていた小説家の新刊であり、本の帯（腰巻）にある「みなさん、ドイツイデオロギーは間違っているよ。」という惹句にも強く誘引されて購入したものである。
評者はフォイエルバッハに惹かれつつも、『ドイツイデオロギー』を年に１回は読んでいる。近年ますます、経済社会、世界の状況は『ドイデ』を読まなければわからないという思いが強い（実は最近も『ドイデ』のなかにソヴィエト（のような社会主義国家）崩壊の必然を明示した文章を発見した。識者には当たり前のことだろうが）。
しかしながら、エンゲルスのフォイエルバッハ理解のバイアス、マルクスが実は観念論者のなかではフォイエルバッハをこそ認めていたという含意、それらについて、評者はいまだ折り合えていない。

会社勤務労働者として、人並み以上に酒も喰らい、阿呆な「社内政治」（わかりやすく言えば人間関係ですな。出世などとは関係はありません）にも関わったうえでの「お勉強」である。（とは言え、この数年ほどにマルクスやフォイエルバッハが思想したことと、我が卑小なる世間の現実とがリンクしていると思われることはかつてなかった）。

それ以前にも、幾つかの笙野作品は読んでいるが、いずれもよくわからなかった。バカだからである。
そのうえ、本書は三部作の完結編ということであり、前の２つを読んでいなければわからないのであろうが、その当たり前の努力をしていない。

そこでお願いなのだが、過去の作品などで笙野を高評されている方々に何かヒントをいただければと思う。なお、本書に登場する柄谷行人ら、幾人かのヒヒョー家については、多少の知識はある。本書巻末に登場する田中和生なる御仁は、名のみ知るがそれほど重要な人物でもなかろうと思うが、いかがでしょうか。
そのうえで、読むべき書物（笙野のものは当然だが）など背景的な理解に益するものをご教示願いたい。
