学年別に編集された物語集などの本の中には、
大人が読むと、物語の完成度の低い内容のものがあります。
しかし、これはすべて、名作がセレクトされているので、
大人が読んでも納得できる。
子どもが自分で読む用に、作られた本だとおもいますが、
寝る前の「読み聞かせ」としても最適でした。

子供に「本を読みなさいよ！」と言いながらも、具体的に「この本がお勧めよ」と助言できないでいた私にとって、この本は、とってもありがたい存在でした。今は、大人の私でも「このお話って、こうだったけ~」と思い出しながら読んだりしています。読み終わった後に、親子でひとつの作品についての感想を話し合ったりしています。ひとつの作品ごとの末尾にある斎藤孝さんのコメントが、次の読書へのきっかけになって、「今度は、これを読んでみようか~」と次につながってくれるのもいいですね。

をなかなか読まない男の子にぴったり、字も大きくて、お話の抜粋なのでこの前後はどうなんだろうね、と言ったりして興味をもたせて読ませています、我が家の場合一人では読めないので声に出させて親が聞くといった感じです、お話のあとに質問があってめんどくさがるのですが口頭で回答させています、何度でも繰り返し読ませることが大切かなと思っています、親の方もこの話どうだったけともう一度読み返している感じです、1年生、2年生とありますが1巻2巻といった感じで学年はそう関係ないと思いました。
