　ミッフィーが大好き。それでミッフィーをかいたディック・ブルーナって、どんな人なんだろうと興味をもっていました。
　この本は、ミッフィーのことやブルーナのこと、ポピーさんやボリス、ブラックベアなどについて、興味深い７７の質問に、作者のブルーナが答えています。
　それから気絶しちゃいそうになるほど、うれしかったのは、カラーのミッフィーの絵がいっぱい載っていることはもちろん、ページをめくるごとに１個ずつ、いろいろなポーズのミッフィーが印刷されていること。それがすごくかわいい！　うれしくて毎日ながめています。
　読んでみて、「あ~、ミッフィーが、あんなにあたたかく、かわいいのは、ブルーナのおいたちや、デザイン力によって生まれ出されたものなんだな」と納得できました。ミッフィーやポピーさんが、今まで以上に身近に感じられました。

息子のお気に入り「みっぴいちゃん」のことがもっと知りたいとおもい読んでみました。
内容はブルーナさんへの７７の質問、作品リスト、ブルーナさん年表など。
誕生から５０年、４０カ国で愛され親子３代の読者もいるというミッフィーの魅力を
余すことなく伝えています。
初めて外国語に訳されたのが日本語だったことや、ミッフィーがどうして女の子になった
のか、どんな画材をつかっているのかなど、熱烈なブルーナファンの方たちはもしかして
すでにご存知なのかもしれませんが、私は知らないことばかりでしたので大変満足しました。
ブルーナさんのお人柄が伝わってくるような表紙の写真もいいですね。もちろんブルーナ
カラーのブックデザインです。

2005年6月、ミッフィー生誕50周年のお祝いにオランダへ行き、Dick Bruna氏と初めて会いお話してきました。ブルーナさんは、この本の文章や写真のイメージそのままのやさしくて気さくなおじいちゃまで感激しました。この本にはブルーナ氏の住むオランダのUtrechtのことも書かれているので、ぜひ読んでくださいね。（・ｘ・）
