著者の元妻から著者の事を知り、なんとなく買った本でした。
私自身もよく旅をします。この本と行く場所が重なる部分が多く興味をそそられながら読みました。私の旅はユースホステルで、民宿＋飲み屋は有り得ない組み合わせだったのでその点とてもおもしろかったです。まるで裏旅行記みたいでした。特にタクシーの運ちゃんとの会話や自問自答がとても新鮮でした。単なる旅行記として読んでもおもしろいと思いますし、年取った自分探しの旅に憧れている人は一読すべしです。読みながらネットでその地図して読むといっそうおもしろいと思います。では、著者に幸福を！

何故、鴨志田さんは自分を辛い方へ辛い方へ向かわせるのか、読んでは泣き、泣いては読みの日でした。離婚後の彼の破滅的とも言える破天荒な生き方。一度、皆さん読んでみて下さい。
特に男性の方に読んで欲しい作品です。

今までの作者の本を期待される方は、裏切られることはないおもしろさです。作者の現在の体験（ずっと読者であった方はおわかりだと思いますが、離婚闘病等）が、作品に品格すら備わせたように思います。
初めての方も、日本各地の辺境（はじっこ）をさまよいながら、世界を感じ、生死を考え、家族や愛した元奥さんの姿を偲ぶ作者へ、エールを送りたくなると思います。
