1.0 out of 5 stars 噴火で潰される緊迫感とリアリティ。静岡市壊滅…してない？, 2004/6/16

富士山が噴火する迄の緊迫感は評価できる。
しかし噴火後の展開にリアリティは「皆無」。読者置いてきぼりの畳み掛けるような速すぎる展開。物語の屋台骨と次の展開への期待が噴火で潰されていく。
火山噴火についてリサーチ、考証の甘さがモロに露呈している。
というより、リサーチも考証もしていないとしか思えない。

どこか別の星が舞台のＳＦではないんだから、少なくとも地球上の科学に則った記述をして欲しいものである。

ネタバレになるが、富士山山頂から静岡市西部まで直線距離で６０ｋｍ弱、間には山がいくつもある。これらを「数時間」で「直線的」に駆け抜けるとはスゴイ溶岩流だ。ありえない。溶岩に脚を呑まれて火傷だけで済む人物とは強靭な脚の持ち主か、溶岩の温度が低いか。

３流パニック映画が好きな方にはお勧めできると思うが、とにかく｢リアル｣を求めてはいけない。

序盤で登呂遺跡が清水市にあるという記述を見て半分読む気をなくした。何とか我慢して読み続けたらこの体たらく。
たぶん今後この作者の本は買わないと思う。

この作者、多作らしいが、本書で作者の底の浅さがよく分かった。
執筆という「行動｣のみに夢中になって粗製濫造をしているとしか思えない。

出版社にとって多作な作家は商売上有難い存在なのだろうが、粗製濫造を防ぐ責任が有る筈。
未だに作者の小説が多数出版されているのは不思議である。

あまりにも素人臭い文章で、なんでこれが出版される運びになったのか全くわからない。
地震予知の方法といい、溶岩や津波に襲われても生きている主人公たちといい、唐突に終わる噴火といい、全く不思議な小説です。トンデモ本を読みたい向きにはお薦めかも。

天変地異物が好きならば購入して呼んでみる価値ありです。が、内容的にはひねりも構成も今ひとつですので期待しない方がいいかもしれません。ページ数も少ないのであっという間に読んでしまいます。評価は辛口の１です。
