レビューの他の女性の意見を見ていると「きしょい」とか「疲れる」というのが多いようですが、私はすごく面白かった。面白いというか、男の人ってかわいいな・・・と思いました。たぶん独身で「これから結婚ウキウキ」の女性には理解できないというか、したくない内容でしょう。でも、いろんな経験をして年齢をかさねてきた女性にとっては、理解できる内容だと思います。少なくとも私はですけど・・・。この本をきっかけに重松本にはまりそうな私でした。

Review:　本書は６つの作品が収録されている短編集。いずれも性愛小説で「小説現代」に匿名として書いた作品をまとめた作品集。作品毎に描かれる欲望の世界は違うのですが、歪んだ性愛描写など、重松らしくないものの、作品には重松らしさも現れており、特に表題作は倒錯ともいえる異常な世界が描かれるだけに、女性には嫌悪を感じる人もいるかとは思いますが、夫婦の性愛の形に感動できる部分も多く、重松清の新たな世界を読むことができます。

重松清は、雑誌ライターとしてふつうに生きる人々の人間模様を取材し、書きつづることで糊口をしのぐ時代があったという。そんな経験がベースになっているのであろうか、この小説は日常の中にあって、常識的に育てられ、生きているオトナの男が、性的空想の中で非日常の世界をちょっとだけ冒険してみたい、という空想がモチーフになっている。ソフトＳＭや素人ヌード画像のネット上投稿などが、時代の空気として密やかに見られることとリンクしているのではないか。読み終わり、夫婦の間で性を愉しむ、ということがオープンに語りあえる関係を維持する、ということも大事なのだな、と我が身をふりかえり思った次第。
