十歳の朔と砂緒（スナオ）の会話が、どう考えても十歳の会話じゃないし、カフカの『変身』のように理不尽で不条理だし、謎は謎のままなんですが、読後感は悪くない。
ごまかし方がうまいのかしら(笑)？

後書を読むまで児童文学だという事に全く気付きませんでした。
やけに平仮名が多いなぁとは思いましたけど、『守り人シリーズ』といい、児童文学って案外難しい題材を扱うのね。
対象年齢高学年以上かな。

大人が読んでも楽しめる、素敵な本です。

　児童書を銘打たれている本書を、当の昔に「児童」でなくなっている自分が読んだのは、著者のファンだからに他ならない。しかし、著者のこれまでの小説はどこかわかりにくい部分があったり、文章がすっきりしていなかった部分があった。著者のファンであっても、これまでの小説を読んで、とまどったり、退屈と感じた人もあったのではないだろうか。

　本書は違う。
　文章は精錬され、著者独特の世界観をみごとに描き出している。純粋に楽しめる、終わりが来るのが辛くなる、続きが読みたくなる（物語は完結しているのだが）…。小説というジャンルをみごとに使いこなして書かれた秀作である。一人でも多くの人がこの本にめぐりあい、手に取り、読まれることを望みます。

絵とか、雰囲気に惹かれて買いました。
ラブストーリーは読んだことがなかったのですが、これをきに挑戦してみようかと思いまして。

うーん…。絵も素敵ですし、作品全体の雰囲気も、透明感があるというか、良かったと思うんですけど…。
小説は、ネタバレやばいですよね？　でも、なんだか、ラストがあまり好きになれなかったんですよ。
もっとハッキリしてくれなかったのは何故？
そんなに短い話ではないのですから、すっきりとその後を見せてほしかったのですけど。
もうハッキリと、「想像にまかせる」ですよね。ここまでサッパリしてると逆に清々しくもありますが。

なんだか、私ひとり評価低くてすみません…。
やっぱり、冒険ファンタジー好きが入ってはいけない世界だったんでしょうか…。
