私の先生であるケンタロウ氏の中で２番目に愛用している本である。本のタイトルどおり「ムズカシイこと」は抜きで、鼻歌でも歌いながらできる。中でも気に入ったのが煮汁の加減の３パターンであった。甘甘こってり、甘あっさり、さっぱりという３つだが、それでそこそこ作れるんだなと思った。私が生まれて初めて大根の煮物を作ったのもこの本あってのことである。
　著者は料理にはツボがあり「これさえちゃんとやれば」と「そんなことしなくていいんだよ」と２つだという。私は料理以外でも通用する気がするがいかがだろうか。

マシンガンのように多数のレシピ本を出しているケンタロウだが、
彼の出したレシピ本の中で、おそらく一番「使いでのある」本。
卵焼きからスタートして、肉じゃが、大根を１本使いきり、など
家計にやさしく、背伸びしないレシピが満載。
隅から隅まで読んで作って楽しめる。

（そして、台所で使いすぎてあちこち汚れてしまうのだ）

小林カツ代さんの息子、ケンタロウさんの本です。
男性が作っている本だけあってなぜかこの本の中からセレクトした料理は主人ウケもいいです。
シンプルで手軽なんだけれど本当に美味しいッ！！
鶏つくね鍋、かぼちゃの煮物、大根の煮物、焼きねぎのマリネ、山芋のみそソース、えのきご飯、豆腐のあんかけ・・・・・等々いろいろつくりましたがハズレがありません。
料理書にしては薄いけれど使う頻度の高い本ですね。
