宮沢賢治を読むなら、私はこの本をお薦めします。子供から大人まで存分に楽しめること間違いなしです。名作からあまり知られていないような小品まで64編と内容もとても充実している上、今の時代にはあまり馴染みのない言葉や方言など、説明を要する語句や事項には解説や注記が添えられています。また物語に出てくる植物や動物、昔の道具、楽器、星座などは解説に加えイラストも描かれていて、どういうものかを具体的に知ることができるのです。これは一種の事典のような感覚でも読むことができるように思います。そのイラストやお話の内容に合わせた挿絵のイラストが、またとても雰囲気があって素敵です。まさに宮沢賢治の世界にぴったり!!なのです。小さなお子様には一話ずつ読み聞かせを、物語を自分で読むことに自信がついたお子様には是非じっくり味わって欲しいと思います。（難しい漢字にはルビがついています。）そして、大人の方も。。読むと心が洗われるような気持ちになります♪

内容はすごくいい。
だけど、かなりデカい。面積は教科書以上、高さはドラクエ系の攻略本ほど分厚い。425ページとあるが、実際は440ページほどあるのではないか。
　学校や職場に持っていって、息抜きに、とはやりにくいもの。
もうちょっと面積を小さくして、2巻ほどに分けていたら、☆５つあげれた。
　それほどショックをうけた。

宮沢賢治の世界がまとめて楽しめます。また言葉の説明もありわかりやすい本だと思います。しかし小さい子供さんでは多少飽きてしまう感じがします。賢治ワールドを満喫したい方向けかな。
