前作の続きですが、内容は大きく変わっていて、前作が人間と人間に似た容姿をしているが、宇宙から来た植物が進化した異星人恋愛の話だったのですが、今回は残された異星人が地球上の植物はただ犠牲になって食べられている姿に我慢できずに、植物たちに人間に対して復讐をしようと持ちかける話です。植物の視点から見た地球や動物、人間ってのが描かれていて、植物があるから僕らは生きていられるんだなってことが再認識させられます。

グリーンレクイエムの続きです。
個人的にはこの「緑幻想」の方が好きです。
だって拓兄が好きなんだもの（笑）。
緑のセカイにつかる感覚で読みましょう。
ピアノ聴きながら。

心配しました。あの名作「グリーン・レクイエム」を読み終えたあと、この後が書けるのだろうかと。
しかし、素子さんはすごかった。この展開に持ってくるとは予想だにしなかった。
登場人物のすべての想いをひとつづつ書き込んで行き、ラストにすべてをまとめていくとは。
ひとつ印象に残り、考え込んでしまったのは、老木の言葉の意味。「人間は次の存在を受け入れられるだろうか？」
正直今の人間の精神性では無理だろうと思うのは悲観的すぎるでしょうか？
