「第三回本格ミステリ大賞」の候補に選ばれましたが、惜しくも。

「本格ミステリ」って聞くと
長い長い長編で重くて難しいってイメージじゃないですか？
それが「~功績」は長くもなく、
ミステリの面白いとこどりという感じで、
短編好きの私にとっては「拍手喝さい！」
個人的には、短編（短編集）が
もっともっと評価されてもいいと思います。

長編もいいけど、手短に読める短編は通勤のいい友達ですから。

思わず、
ｷﾀｷﾀｷﾀｷﾀ━━━(ﾟ∀ﾟ≡(ﾟ∀ﾟ≡ﾟ∀ﾟ)≡ﾟ∀ﾟ)━━━━!!!!!!!!!!
と叫びたくなる久しぶりの法月綸太郎の作品です。
穂波たんは残念ながら登場しないが、
さすが法月綸太郎と唸らせられる短編集です。

◆「縊心伝心」

　　不倫相手のＯＬが自殺すると電話をかけてきたため、あわてて男が
　　彼女のマンションに駆けつけてみると、すでに首を吊って死んでいた。

　　しかし、のちに死因は縊死ではなく、後頭部の打撲であることが判明する。

　　男が女を殺した後、発見者になりすまし、自殺したように偽装工作を行ったのか？


　　現場にはホットカーペットが敷かれていたのですが、なぜかこたつが
　　置かれていない半面を暖めるようにスイッチが入れられていました。

　　このことを糸口に、事件の真相を導き出す綸太郎。

　　本作の犯行は、悪意ではなく歪んだ愛情が、家電に取り囲まれた
　　現代人の生活環境のために不幸にも具象化してしまったものです。
