まるで喋り言葉、四文字熟語の多様に、始めはひいた私でしたが・・・慣れてくると物凄く引き込まれます。まず主人公・四郎の人格。暴力的で自虐的、そして口が悪くて淋しがりや。そんな矛盾した人格を鋭利な文体でぐいぐいと読ませます。そして構成。過去の話、主人行の日常、事件の進行状況などが絶妙に配置されています！舞城王太郎は評価されるとき、その文体のみについて語られることが多いけれど、私はこの作家の構成力に底力を感じます。

『【文圧】って何やねん？』という人はこの本を読めばいい。


圧倒的なカリスマと激しいイマジネーションに彩られた本書は、
　まさに文章の『圧力』たるものを提示してくれる。
こんなにも破壊力を持った攻撃的な本には、お目に掛かったことがない。

暴力的なシーンやグロそうな場面が嫌いな人にはオススメできないが、
　それでも目を隠した両手の隙間から、チラリズムで見て欲しいものである。


もちろんチラリズムした目を射抜かれてしまっても責任はもてない。
