興味をもって香山家を訪れた西之園萌絵だが、そこにはさらに不思議な事件が待ち受けていた！

この話で私が一番に薦めるのは、ズバリ！トリックではない。萌絵と犀川先生のやりとりである。普段は何も興味を示さない犀川が、あんなに取り乱すなんて。。。。ちょっと人間らしい所を発見できて、本編とは別におもしろい。トリックも結構高度なものだと思う。やはり工学部の助教授だけあって、専門知識は豊富なんだなと思ってしまう。これは絶対読むべき！

1997年リリース。S&Mシリーズの第5作。『理系(というかこの場合はパズル系??)』の謎にご存知犀川&萌絵が挑む。（●＾o＾●）
考えれば今回も『密室』である。やはり建築学というのは『密室』に物凄く興味があるらしい。今回は『和』の密室になっている・・・・・が、謎解きがちょっと専門的になりすぎていてちょっとズルイ気がする（●＾o＾●）。
むしろ本作は犀川&萌絵(というか萌絵のせつないくらいカワイイ)のラヴ・ストーリーがステキだ。『理系』というわりには現代女性の描き方がたいへん旨くて、大学の教壇の上から彼女達の気持ちをよく掴んでいるなぁ、と感心した。ふと気持ちは大学生時代に戻り、懐かしい気持ちになった。（●＾o＾●）

S＆Mシリーズのかなめの作品。最も好きです。この作品の犀川と萌絵を見ずして満足してはいけません。シリーズ10作の転換期とも云える作品で、『F』から続く2人の内面がもっともよく覗けます。2人のいちゃつき具合もいい感じです。まるでラブストーリィ。森作品特有のタイトルに仕掛けられた深い意味は、読後に一度、シリーズを読み終わった後にさらに大きく一度訪れます。ぜひシリーズを最初から読むことをオススメします。ネタばれ気味ですが、作品＆シリーズの中で何が再び封印されるのか？中にいるのは誰か？分かったときは、驚きです
