最初は、聖書に登場する女性についてのうんちく本、女性が生きるためのヒント本かと思いました。

が、読み進むうちに段々「深い信仰と共に他者につくし、けなげに生きた女性は皆幸福になり、そうでない女性は皆不幸な最期を迎えた」というパターンのもとにこの本が書かれていることが見えてきます。そして、実は作者は「神を敬い、信仰と共に生きることで人は幸福になれる。だからキリスト教を信仰しなさい」と主張したいのだということが分かります。

読み物としてはなかなか面白いのですが、そういった事情から、後半に行くほど宗教がかった文章になっていきます。なので、その手のものが苦手な人は読むのがつらくなるかもしれません。

聖書は意外に女性に関する記述は少なく
神の教えも男性にだけ与えられています。
そんなバイブルの中で記述される女性たちにスポットを当てた本ですが

なんとなく、書き込みが偏っていますけどね
