宮部みゆきさんのファンなので、児童向けの文庫？はて？とは思いましたが（笑）試しに買って読んでみて結果オーライでした。
普段の作風とは確かに異なっていて逆にそれも新鮮だったし、でも言葉の端はしに彼女のらしい表現がたくさんあって、純粋に楽しめた作品でした。

双子のイラストもかわいくて、癒し癒しとうたわれるご時世を反映しているが如く、心が癒された超お勧め作品ですね。

もちろん子供ばかりでなく、大人でも、うーんと考えさせられることもあり、読書が苦手な人でも最後まで楽しめるのではないでしょうか。

この本をきっかけに読書の秋にトライしてみてはいかが？
日常からの現実逃避に誰よりも宮部みゆき作品は、はまります（爆笑）

まず、設定がおもしろい。
こんなところがありそうだなと、読みながら、情景が浮かんできます。思わず笑ってしまえるようなところが、いくつもあります。
憎めない性格の泥棒家業の主人公、若くして中学生のおとうさんにされてしまって。テレビドラマにもなりそうな楽しい話です。
でも、宮部さんのこと。
いつ、どんでん返しがあるのではないかと、最後まで、気のぬけない緊張感もあって、一気に読んでしまいました。
読んだあと、ほんわかとした気持ちになれます。

　軽いタッチの短編推理小説。「俺」という一人称の泥棒が双子に対して愛着が出てくるところの心情が、とても共感できる。
　重めの小説を読んで少し疲れている時なんかに丁度いいくらいの本。
