【米内穂豊】
1893年、岩手県生まれ。尾竹國観に師事。格調ある絵巻物的な歴史画で知られる。『講談社の絵本』を数多く手がけ、好評を得た。1970年没。
【石井滴水】
1882年、東京生まれ。鏑木清方に師事して日本画を学ぶ。帝展に入選するなどしたが、その後、絵本や挿絵に力点を移す。軽妙な描写力に定評がある。1945年没。
