焦がれていた男は親友と結婚、主人公は年下の大金持ちの息子と一緒になった。「いちゃつく」のはとてもウマがあうけれど、結局は。。登場人物のイキのいい大阪弁を楽しみつつ、結婚生活のなかで「役者」になるしかなかった女性が「私的生活」を取り戻すまでのストーリーを堪能できます。文春文庫「言い寄る」の続きで読むと面白さ倍増。

　田辺聖子さんの作品の中で最高傑作だと思う。
関西の上流階級の生活も垣間見えてちょっと前の作品ながら
今も昔も変わらない女心をきれいに描いている。
三部作の最後の作品、この続き「苺をつぶしながら」も読んで。
