私はマンション住まいのガーデニングとインテリアが趣味なんですが、
もうこの本はツボをついています！堅苦しさのない親近感のあるガーデニング。でも、お手本になるような小物使いや配置など・・とてもセンスを感じました！
ガーデニング初心者さんにもベテランさんにもおススメです。

愛らしい雑貨とグリーンとを取り合わせた、ナチュラルだけど賑やかな庭づくりが提案されています。私の場合、はじめは芝生のきれいなスッキリとした庭作りを理想としていたのですが、それを実際生活しながら…となると、雑草やガーデニング用具に邪魔をされて、維持するのはなかなか大変なんですよね。神経質にならずに、かつハンドメイドで作って行ける庭は無いだろうか…と思いながら辿り着いたのが、この本が提案する「ナチュラル」ティストでした。剪定や難しい仕立てのルールが無い分、少しくらい雑草が生えて来たり、用具を出したままになってもヘッチャラ。個人的には、もう少し雑貨の量を減らした方がよりナチュラルで良いかな…とは思うものの、色んな種類の植物を少しずつ寄せ植えする感覚で庭作りができるので、新興住宅街の限られた庭でガーデニングを楽しむ我が家にはピッタリの手法です。大掛かりな土木工事のような事をせず、自分の手で少しずつ庭作りをするのを楽しみにする方には断然オススメですね。日本庭園や、シンプル＆モダン系を好まれる方には不向きだと思いますが、バラやイングリッシュガーデンはもちろん、流行のビオトープやハーブにも合わせやすいので、比較的多くのスタイルの庭に取り入れる事ができるでしょう。一から庭作りを始める人以外でも、十分楽しめる内容ではないでしょうか。

お花はあまり好きではない。
でも、庭をどうにかしたい。
そう考えていた私なのですが、そうそうこんな感じという理想のようなものが固まった本です。
ガーデニング初心者としては、お花やグリーンの名前や特徴が程よい数で載っていたり、専門用語の解説も少し。
気負わず参考に出来る本でした。

狭いベランダでも、こんなにおしゃれなガーデニングができるんだ、と感心しました。ガーデニング雑貨の作り方やハーブの楽しみ方等もあって、見てるだけで楽しいです。
