何冊かケンタロウさんの著書を持っていますがこの本は今までのものと比べてもレシピも豊富、新作もずらりで写真も大きくきれいでガツン！と作って食べたくなるものがいっぱいでした。ちょっとしっかりめの味付け、カロリー高めの男性好みの料理が多いですが煮ハンバーグには湯をたっぷりで生焼け知らずの肉汁たっぷりハンバーグができるとか、タコスの皮にコーングリッツではなくてクリームコーン缶でとうもろこし風味を出すとかオリジナリティあふれるアイディアもあってなるほど！と思えるレシピあり、レシピのジャンルもバラエティに富んでいて見ているだけでも楽しいのです！これは手にとって是非見ていただきたい本のひとつ。

様々な料理にバジルを使ってあるのですが、私と旦那の好みではありませんでした。定番というよりも、ちょっと変わったカフェメニューのような感じ。若い女性にはうけそうです。

ケンタロウのレシピは、なんだよ、いつも基本調味料が同じじゃないか。そして味が濃すぎる！と思うのですが、なんだかんだいっておいしいのです。そして男性ならではでだんなさんが喜びます。使用頻度が高い料理本です。
