数日前に書店にて購入させていただきました。
非常にわかりやすく、図柄があって尚且つ理解しやすく、教養を付けたり、自分の言葉や知識を増やすのにもってこいですね。
小学生からビジネスマンまで使用可能な書籍です。
メールや手紙を書く時には意外と「ことわざ」を使うと説得力のある文章を記述することも可能です。是非お勧めします。

1.0 out of 5 stars タイトルと監修者を見て早合点するのは禁物, 2004/7/6
ことわざとは何でしょうか？　金田一春彦氏自身が携わった国語辞典には「その国の民衆の生活から生まれた、教訓的な言葉」とあります（三省堂新明解国語辞典）。　ところが本書はその意味に照らして「ことわざ辞典」であるか？と考えた時、おかしいと思わざるを得ません。　例えば「暖を取る」「顔を立てる」「幅を利かせる」はことわざではありません。外国語として日本語を学ぶ方には便利かもしれませんが・・・　またそれぞれの説明文もごく簡単なもので、ことわざの由来などの周辺知識も（少しは）期待していた私としては大変つまらないという印象を受けました。イラストは３~４つの「ことわざ」毎に１枚程度ありますが、これらもさして品質的に優れたものでもなく、購入には十分な注意が必要な本です。
