ほかの図鑑とはぜんぜん違い、見るだけでなく、自分から興味を探せるような
仕組み（トビラ絵）になっているので、字が読めなくても楽しいです。

それぞれの恐竜の大きさや特徴が書いてあるページと、
生態等が分かるように自然の中にいる恐竜が描かれているページとに分かれています。
扉を開くと絵が変わる仕掛けがたくさんあるので
小さいお子さんでもかなり楽しめると思います。。
絵もけっこうリアルな感じでいいです。

息子は４歳ですがかなり気に入ったようです。妹(２歳)も一緒にパタパタしています。
ページも厚いので破損する心配も少ないかと・・
５歳前後の恐竜好きのお子さんなら間違いなく喜ぶと思います。

解説も本物の図鑑ほどには難しくないですし、
大きさ比べや化石の写真なんかもちょこっと載っているので
これ一冊で大体のことは分かる感じです。
絶滅した後に出てくる動物のページとかも面白いです。

親子で楽しめるお得な本です。。

ほんとうに現実的に描かれていてすごくリアルです！
最近、恐竜を題材にした映画が多いので買いましたが、とっても
喜んでいました。
今はいない・・という事実はまだ理解できない幼い娘ですが、とりあえず見たことある恐竜を見つけて喜んでいたり、仕掛けをめくっては物語風に読み聞かせて親子で楽しんでいます。まだまだ解明しきれない時代のこと、昔見た図鑑を思い浮かべながら、自分がちいさい頃よりは随分調べが進んでいるんだなー･･といつかの続きを見ているような、純粋に大人も楽しめる内容です。
