先日、祖母を亡くしました。小さいころから凄く可愛がってもらっていて、亡くしたショックは計りしれないものでした。
お経をあげにきて下さったお坊さんに様々な話しを聞きました。

その時はなかなか理解できなく「祖母を戻して」といい歳をして泣きじゃくりました。そして初七日が終わり、やや自分も落ち着きはじめた時にお坊さんが言いたかった事を知りたくて、色々調べているうちにこの本と出会いました。

この本を読んでいるうちに、少しずつだけどお坊さんが私に話して下さった意味を理解できるようになりました。

そして昔祖母が良く私に教えてくれた、人間として大切な事が書いてあり、この本はこれからずっと祖母の思いでとともに大切にしていきたいと思いました。

最近鍼灸院を開業してお祝いに母が送ってくれました
開業したばかりでつらいこと大変なことの毎日ですが
毎日通勤の時になんども読み返してると仕事が楽しくなってくるんです
なんというかあたまがすっきりするんですね
宗教本なのに押しつけがましいところがひとつもなく
書いてあることが自然に受け入れられるのです
読むたびになるほどということばかりで非常に不思議な本です
いい本というものは毎日読んでも味がでるだけであきないものなんですね

この本は、現在の浄土真宗　本願寺派の御門主様がお書きになった本であります。まず、内容は理解のしやすさに重点を置かれているように思います。無宗教が増えている日本、今、宗教の本当の立場を明確に表されているように思います。と言いますのも、本来、宗教というものは教えであるけれども支える立場でもあるわけです。世の中の本の中には、これが正解だ!!とばかりにサプライズ中心的な作りが多いものです。ところが、この本はサプライズを用意しているわけではありません。種も裏もありません。素っ裸の状態でお釈迦様がお示しになったように、流れる川のように自然に浸透してゆく。それがこの本の良さです。どの宗教者であっても、これから仏教をと言う方にも、人生に悩んでいる人にも、押し付けの無い書き方に、この本は読みやすさを感じると思います。
