定番の浅見光彦シリーズ。
上巻は、ゆったりと進む。
調査依頼した方も非協力的で、浅見も強引には進めようとしない。
新聞連載のためか同じことの説明が何度も繰り返されるのがうっとうしい。

下巻に入って、刑事と協力するようになって展開が早くなり、めざましく進展する。
全体に文章は読みやすく、安心して物語を楽しめる。

巻末の京都事件現場案内も旅情を増す。
もう一つの依頼事項であるグルメレポートが、
最初からやる気もなく完了もしないのは不可解であり不満なところ。

浅見シリーズ　初めて読みました

歴史と交錯して実に楽しく展開し

街並みや人物が目に浮かぶ内田さんの

表現力に満足しました。

さて、壺よりも安井金比羅さんのほうが

気になったかたもいらっしゃるかと。

縁切りの神様にお願いしたいことあります（笑）

今度行きたくなりました。

　本書は京都新聞から依頼されてできたものらしいが、数は少ないのだろうが、京都の知る人ぞ知る観光スポットを楽しむことができて、ミステリーとあわせて楽しむことができました。
スポットの詳しい案内は巻末に詳しく紹介してあったので、少しうれしい驚きでした。こういうやり方は浅見光彦シリーズでは時たま出てくるのだが、悪くないと思う。
　ミステリーの方も下巻に急展開を見せて、あれあれあれと転がっていってたどり着いた結論は予想外だったので、それも楽しむことができた。
　かなり充実した内容で、最近キレが悪くなってきたと思っていた、このシリーズでしたが、久しぶりに堪能しました。
　次回作もこの雰囲気があるならば、是非とも読んでみたい。
