山田悠介にしては、ほぼ誰も死なない（死体はあるしヤクザはいるけど）、誰も苦しまない?!普通の小説でした。
少し伊坂幸太郎を思い出させるような（ギャング）雰囲気なのは私だけか？

主人公の２０代の男が仕事を辞め、プラプラしていたところ『何でも屋』の求人案内を見つけ、そこで働き出し、いろいろあって（親とか彼女とかの個人的話から同僚とか仕事の話）〜というあらすじ。

携帯小説のような軽さでしか文章を読み込めない人には読みやすいかも。
読書好きという文章の重み重視の人には物足りないと思います。（今に始まった事じゃないが）

ホラーを希望の人にはちょっと寂しさを感じさせるから星二つで。

お〜っ、この作品には
『血、ドバッ』とか『ブスッ』『ザクッ』ってな
描写がないので、安心して読めますね。
山田氏の作品は２作目ですが、
他の作品は読むつもりもない。
スプラッタ系は読む気がさらさらないので。
この作品にはそういう残虐性もないので
わりとさくさくっと読めます。

が、

前作『ドアＤ』のときほどのがっかり感もなく
今作はわりと好印象。
ヤバイ、
母親との話の場面では不覚にも･･･
やはり母子物には弱いです。

ものの２時間弱読み終わってしまいましたが、
それだけ何も考えずに読み進められる作品だった･･･
と言うのはいい事なのか？悪いことなのか？

一瞬思わされた。軽く真似てる気はする。
というか話が１つ１つバラバラなので内容が薄く感じる。
ゴミ屋敷も結局誰がメールを送ったか謎のままだしヤクザもそんな簡単に逃げ切れるものか？
最後の話も軽く説得しただけですぐ落ち着いたし。

まぁ、山田さんにしては残虐度は低い作品。

とりあえず毎度の事ながら期待は禁物ですよ(笑
