孔明の罠でした。ってゆうかうっかりしすぎです。いったい何度うっかりすれば気がすむのか！★５つです。大変満足いたしました。

　いくつかの秘密は暴露され、でも新たな謎も登場する展開。こう言ってしまうと何だけど、詳しい内容は読むべし。

　ところで、大気制御衛星暴走事件前の地球連合は、意外に政策決定機関としてきちんと機能していたらしいことが分かる。エネルギー分配問題の解決手段として戦争ゲームみたいなものを用いていることから考えて、全てのシティが壊滅的攻撃能力を有し、かつ、反撃を確実に防ぐことが出来ない、という状況が読み取れるだろう。
　内政的にも、全ての人が同程度に満ち足りた生活をおくれているならば、特に問題は発生しない。イスラム系の人が登場しないのでそのあたりの問題をどう回避したのかよく分からないが、とにかく人類は均質化されてしまっていた様に思える。

　満足してしまった人は、かなり保守的になる傾向がある気がする。なぜなら、変化した先でも同等以上の生活が保障されるという確信は、誰にもないからだ。でも一方で、人よりも良い生活を送りたいという意識も併せ持つ。他よりも飛び抜けた力を持てば、誰にもその地位を脅かされる心配はない。
　地球連合としては安定を望み、シティとしては向上を求める。そもそも事件は、どちらの性質が強く働いたんでしょうね？

『大気制御衛星に偽装――』果たして、偽装とはどういうことだったのか。
あの日、一般には「暴走事故」と伝えられた事件の裏に、何が秘されていたのか。
そしてアリスとアルの二人は、どうなってしまったのか――

つい先日全巻纏めてお買い上げし、完徹も気にせず(マテ)一息に読み切ったシリーズ。
その世界の始まりを描く第7話が、遂に完結。

魔法士の誕生や「大気制御衛星の暴走事故」の真実を語る「アルの記録」は、
実に全ページの半分を超えるボリューム。
次第に追いつめられてゆくアルにシンクロするように、
終盤はかなり緊迫した心持ちで読んでいました。

思わず驚いたのが、ヘイズがアルに言われたというあの言葉の真意。
まさかここでそう繋がってくるかと、感心してしまいました。
またアルが携わった「最初の」ファンメイやシャオロン達『龍使い』のことも書かれていて、
「今」のキャラクターに関する「過去」も描かれている点がとても良かった。

ただ、様々な過去や秘密が明らかになる下巻ですが、最後にとんでもないものが現れます。
アルが見つけたという「それ」は、あの真昼を呆然とさせたほど。
果たして「それ」は一体どんなものなのか。真昼がそこまで衝撃を受けたのは、何故なのか――

まだ3エピソード続くという今後の物語に、期待が膨らみます。
