シリーズも5作品目ともなるとそれぞれ皆に愛着がわいてきますね。真一の素直な所や、経島先輩の一人話やイタチさんのかわいい耳も大好きです。話は今回も妖怪退治やら、問題に巻き込まれたりやらで楽しく話が過ぎていきます。少し最終話に向かっているの?とおもう部分もちらっとみえましたが満足できる話ばかりでした。

3.0 out of 5 stars 進級だけに新旧キャラが共演, 2009/7/20
　毎回、日常の中に溶け込んでいる妖怪達とのどこか非日常だけど楽しいスクールライフを安定供給する「ほうかご」シリーズの第五弾。
　今回は主人公達の学年が一つ上がる節目の巻ということで、過去に登場した味方キャラ総出演の話がある等ファンサービス的な要素が入ってます。特に四巻で敵として登場した猫女の美生さんの扱いがでかいですね。あと個人的には三巻で登場した（見かけ上）年の差カップルの二人の再登場が嬉しい限りでした。

　もちろん新キャラも多数登場。序盤に出てくる押しかけ女房の話に少し胸がキュンとしたかと思えば（「ほうかご」的などんでん返しでアッサリとギャグに塗り替えられ）、進級のお約束である後輩の女の子が登場してこれまたお約束のひと騒動。しかもこの人達と美生さんは準レギュラーとしてこれからも頻繁に登場しそうな予感。「ほうかご」も人間妖怪問わず女性キャラが増えて随分にぎやかになりましたね。

　そしてラストにはこれまたお約束のラスボス（？）との決戦とともに、ひょっとしたら今後の展開……もしくは「ほうかご」最終回の伏線とも言えそうな重要な情報が。たったの数行でしたが正直これが一番印象に残りました。

　巻を追う毎にキャラが増え続け、にぎやかさが加速度的にアップしていく「ほうかご」シリーズ。そのラストは意外にも寂しいものになるかも、です。
