帯を見ると「聴けばスナックでモテる」と銘打っているように、本当にバカでかつエロな内容だけど（個人的には実践性科学研究会会長や全国童貞連合会長との対談や、村西とおるの偉人伝で笑った）、同時に愛妻物語やアミティや横井さん小野田さん以外の元日本兵の話とか、結構真面目で泣けるものも多くて、盛りだくさんだった。
中身は４００Ｐもあって相当分厚く、濃い。
リスナー向けには作ってあるんだろうけど、リスナーじゃなくても十分楽しめる内容だと思う（ただリスナーだったらもっと面白いのかもしれないけれど）。
というか、リスナーだけの本にするのは勿体ないほどの名著。
バツラジ知らない友人にこの本を少し読ませたら、番組を聴きたいと言っていた。（ただしバツラジは２００８年９月中に終了。本当に残念）

ニュースの料理の仕方であり、プレゼンテーションの仕方が上手いからこそ、オンエアのみで消費され切ってしまうことなくこのような番組本に繋がるのだという格好のサンプル。
いやそもそも、フリーペーパー『R25』に“手紙（の体を採った原稿）”が転載されることは過去幾度かあっただけに、それを知っているリスナーにとっては書籍化に十分過ぎるくらい耐えうることは保障済みであったが。

確かに、“宮川賢という優れたパーソナリティの喋りでもって紹介されるから面白い”ところはあり、彼独特のリズムや雰囲気を知らずに自分のリズムで読むしかない人は若干気の毒に思わなくもないことは事実。
とは言え、そういうハンディキャップ（？）があろうとも十分満足させるだけのカロリーの高さがこの本にはあるのではないか。宮川氏、放送作家諸氏の「世の事象」に対するスタンスや距離感の取り方であり、視点を設定するセンスが絶妙だからこそそれが可能になっているのだろう。

オンエアに存在していた「ホットさ」を排しても、その情報量の多さとクオリティでこの期に及びこれほどの本を残してくれるのだから、『バツラジ』は本当に良い番組だったなぁ、と。
それを知る、或いは再認識する格好のテキストなのかもしれない。

4.0 out of 5 stars この人抜きでの深夜のTBSラジオの歴史は語れない, 2008/9/15
この本の発売と同時に今回の改編期で番組終了が決まった「バツラジ」ですが、かなり前に宮川さんが放送していた「ラジナメ」に比べればかなりマイルドな放送なのですが、それでも同時間帯の他放送に比べてもかなり突っ込んだ内容の放送になっています。

この本もラジオの放送内容をそのまま本の内容にしているのですが、「コラムの花道」の様に放送が聴けなくても内容が分かるものとは対照的に「バツラジ」本は放送を聴いてこそ面白みが増す本だと言えます。最終ページに「バツラジ」の過去・現在のスタッフの経歴がありますが、こういう点は放送を聴いていないとついていけないと言えるでしょう。個人的には5つ星なのですが、万人向けで言うと星4つを付けます。

「バツラジ」は夜遅くて聴けないけど「パカパカ行進曲」はいつも聴いているという方にはぜひ読んで欲しいと思います。
