　2巻から登場した赤松の同級生、高嶋空のシフト世界はじめて物語。空がシフトをする際に感じる苦痛の理由は何か、ということが明らかになります。これでようやくシフト世界を人間系と怪物系の側面から描く準備が完了したというところでしょうか。本来の物語はこれから始まります、という感じ。

　電撃のハードカバー戦略が、読者層を上に広げよう、ということなのだとしたら、本作を当初ハードカバーとして出版したことは戦略ミスだったように思う。どう読んでも、対象は中高生だし。中高生に売るにはハードカバーは高すぎる。
　文庫化によって、コンスタントに出版が続けばよいのだけれど…

　収録内容
・第一話「ピンクベリーパイ」
　普通じゃない激痛を伴いシフトするソラ、彼女が気づくとそこにはシフト世界での相棒？カレンが･･･彼女は丁度食事をするところで･･･そして彼女が払ったチップが原因で･･･
・第二話「パープル・ブレイク」
　現実世界では祐樹が眼帯？を･･･そしてシフトしたソラはカレンの吸血鬼との対決を目にする･･･
・第三話「反逆者たち」
　カレンは遂に目的地「大王城」に･･･そこで彼女はサラマンデルと出会い、そしてザンと対決することに･･･
・第四話「墓碑銘」
　カレンとサラマンデルとの「大王城」における奇妙な日々、しかしそれは「四大魔獣」の一柱「ジルフィード」の襲撃により･･･さらに「人間系」の大軍が･･･そして彼女は愛する彼の為に･･･
・エピローグ
　異常シフトが終わり目を覚ました空が目にしたのは･･･

　今巻は２巻の後書きにあったように高嶋空を中心とした内容となっています。（しかし主人公赤松祐樹も出番は少ないですが、要所要所を締めています。）
