ガンダムエースに載っていた対談だけかと思っていたら、他の雑誌での対談まで載ってました。
番外バトルの大塚英志氏との論戦は必見です。
よく本に出来たなとつくづく思えます。
高い本なのでなかなか手が出ないでしょうが、それだけの価値はありました。

安彦さんの描く似顔絵が、これがまた良い味出しています。

安彦良和という作家をどういう認識で捉えているでしょうか？
『機動戦士ガンダム』の作画監督？
『アリオン』や『巨神ゴーグ』の監督？
『王道の狗』をはじめとする歴史モノマンガ家？

それらのうちのどれかしかご存知ない方には本作は彼の別の面を知る良い機会になると思います．
また，「安彦良和？わかってるよ」と言われる方にはより深く彼の作品を理解するサブテキストとして必読の1冊になります．

収録されている対談は『ガンダムエース』誌に掲載されたものが多く，映画や画集のタイ・アップという感の強いものも多いのですが，終盤に割かれている「戦争」をテーマにした対談は良くも悪くも印象深いものです．
中でも『多重人格探偵サイコ』原作者の大塚氏との対談は圧巻で，弁の立つ大塚氏に対して，安彦氏が受身気味になる展開で，臨場感がたまらないです．
政治的な内容も多く，何かを考えるきっかけにはなるので，「『機動戦士ガンダム』の．．．」とおっしゃられる方も是非，本作を手に取られ，マンガ家として取り組んでこられた近現代史という文脈で安彦良和の世界に入っていけるのではないでしょうか．
