２１世紀初のＦＦＳ単行本！ そう考えると実に感慨深い。連載開始からの付き合い。当時の自分は、まだ中学生だった…

今回の見所は、いよいよ本格的に開戦したマジェスティック・スタンド、フィルモアとメヨーヨのＭＨ戦、そして剣聖マキシ……いやまぁ、結局は全部！なんだけど。

アマテラス・コーラス・トランの三大巨頭を主軸に据えて進んだ１~３巻。突如その枠から外れて様々な人物に焦点が当てられ、遂には時代すら大きく飛び越えた４~５巻。ソープ即死・ミラージュ左翼大隊の出現に驚愕した６巻。ごく当たり前の様に描かれる戦争の無慈悲さに打ちのめされた７~８巻。いよいよ炎の女皇帝登場・そして数々のエピソードにやたら涙腺をくすぐられた９巻。コミカルな楽しさと大戦前夜の殺伐感が奇妙に同居する１０巻。

十数年を掛!けて紡がれた、余りにも壮大なおとぎ話。でも、この最新巻こそが真の序章なのかも？ ってのは流石に言いすぎか。
でも……ちゃんと完結してくれるのだろうか。と不安にもなったりして。

もうだいぶ昔から単行本しか読んで無いんですが、久し振りに読んでも壮大な御伽噺で相変わらすハマリました。
個人的にはゴスロリのナイアス・ブリュンヒルデが可愛いですね。

又、今までルート・コーダンテの出生がアイシャの妹の子孫と云う事に成っていて、じゃあアイシャの妹って誰じゃい！と長年思っていた個人的な疑問が、今回ワスチャの登場によって解決しました。

が、じゃあ、旦那は誰？ルートのお母さん？お婆ちゃん？曾お婆ちゃん？
等、謎が深まるばかり。
この辺りが永野ワールドと言われる所以でしょうか。

只、何処にルートが出てたかすっかり忘れたいたので、読み返してビックリ！３巻なんですね・・・
この様に、自分に流れた年月まで再認識させられる作品はそう無いと思います!。

１２巻は出たかな~と覗いて見たら、皆さんがおっしゃるには、
まだまだということで。
早く次が読みた~い！

もう十ウン年（ウン十年!?）前にマンガを読み、映画を見に行きました。
最初の３巻までは、ストーリーを追う読み方ができましたが、
それ以後は、その場その場のシチュエーションを楽しむという、
特殊なマンガになりました。

一時期、読まなくなっていましたが（６巻で止まってた。）
久しぶりに読み返して、うしろの説明アンド年表を見て
またこの物語に帰って来てしまいました。
すぐに７~１１巻まで揃えたのは言うまでもありません。

この世界観、キャラクターの壊れ方が、本当に好きで
かわいくて仕方ありません。

因みに私もプラスティックスーツ大好きです。

しかし、巻末のマンガだれがだれやらで、（いまだにわからんのがいる）
１巻目の仮面舞踏会（マスカレ~ド）風を彷彿とさせて面白かった。
