魅力ある登場人物が消えていって、作品の味が薄くなっていたので
西園伸二の話は久々に楽しく読めました。
ただもうそろそろ話をたたんでいかないと、ショッキングな事件描写も冗長になってきています。
艶のない巧緻な絵柄は残酷描写を和らげる効果を生んでいますが、
同時に画面に決定的な色気が少なく、話が冗長になるとさらにそれを助長してしまう傾向があります。
できれば飽きてしまう前に締めて欲しいです。面白い作品だったので。

初期のサイコファンからしたら、やっと戻ってきてくれたか〜！！と、
思わず喜びたくなるような、元来の多重人格探偵サイコの醍醐味が戻ってきました。
正直、これまで何度続きを購入するのを諦めようかと思ったことか…。
今回は本当に良かった。
この巻で、サイコの魅力が何かが再認識されたのではないでしょうか。
もう個人的には、この先のストーリー展開にはあまり興味ありません。
が、いい意味で次回、巻き返してほしいですね。

今までとは違いかなり核心に近づきつつあるといった感で中身の濃い内容でした。（欲求不満の溜まっていた読者もかなり解消されたのではないでしょうか）

今までは、巻を重ねる度・一つの疑問を解消する度に新たな謎・疑問が湧き出す内容でしたが、
本書に到っては「千鶴子事件」以前の「伸二」「若菜」の行動を中心に「ルーシー」「一彦」の存在・位置付けがかなり解明されます。

また、「大江公彦」「℃」も初見参。
こちらは、大塚英志氏の小説では御馴染みの人物なので未読の方は、先ずは「ロリータ℃の冒険」を読了する事をお勧めします。
本書の理解度・関心がさらに深まる事思います。
