連載当初、隔月誌での連載だったので、いつコミックになるのやらとため息をついていましたが、人間ただ待っていればいいこともあるものです。発売が決まってからすっごい楽しみにこのコミックを待っていました。カバーデザインもアメコミを思わせるようなデキでカッコイイですね。でも中身は全ページファーストガンダムのパロなのでした。絵そのものがストレスを感じさせない見事な安彦ガンダムなので、シャアが小指を立てて缶コーヒーを飲んでいるその絵だけでもうパロ。このテンションの高さでファーストガンダムの隅々まで、パロディにし続けて欲しいです。

安彦良和氏そっくりに模倣した作画に、スラプスティックなギャグで破壊
されたガンダムのキャラたち。この破壊ぶりは安彦氏も巻末の寄稿で苦笑
するほど。
　しかし、これは決してガンダムを、安彦氏を愚弄しているわけじゃない。
まず安彦氏の絵柄だけではなく、そのタッチまで模倣して安彦氏の見事な

贋作になりえている。そして、ファーストガンダムの世界を細部まで掌握
しているからこそ出来る様々な小ネタの数々。
　たかがパロディ漫画にここまで出来るのは、安彦氏、そしてファースト
ガンダムへの愛情が根底にあるからだ。オリジナルをしっかりと把握でき
るからこそ、思う存分いじりまわすことが出来る。

　だからこれはオリジナルへの最高のリスペクトだ。

31歳。熱烈ではないにせよ、ファーストガンダム世代。
購入した日に5回程読み直してしまいました。
「ガンダムって、ロボットじゃなくてモビルスーツなんだよね？」というレベルの方にもお薦めです。是非、こちらをお読みになってからアニメorコミックでオリジナルをご覧ください。間違った、いや、また違った楽しみ方ができて2度お得です。

個人的には『ダム不足』『間違えてあったか~いを押してしまったよ！』『木馬責めは左舷から』『なにをいってるの~キャスバル兄さ~ん』の各フレーズがリフレインしております。
