グフの廻し蹴り、グフの前蹴り、グフの振り突き、グフの上受け、グフの(以下略)。燃える男の青いモビルスーツが暴れます。
長年、冷や飯を食わされてきたおやじ(ランバ・ラル)の鬱憤が、15の小僧(アムロ・レイ)とできそこない試作モビルスーツ(ガンダム)に爆発。

これだけではなく、キシリアがガルマを見殺しにした件でシャアを尋問するシーン、ギレンとキシリアがメンチを切るシーン、マ・クベのねちねちとした性格がうかがわれるシーンなど、テレビや映画ではさらっと流された場面も描き込まれています。さらにさらに「悲しみを怒りに変えて、立て、国民よ」のギレン･ザビの名演説も収容されています。

なお、テレビシリーズにあったセイラさんがガンダムを盗んで、ぼこぼこされるシーンはなくなりました。

ガンプラブームの時に、ガンダムやジムには見向きもせず、ザクやズゴックのプラモデルを組み立てていたジオンファンには必読の巻と言えます。
