原作を大切に思う保守派な方々から見ればカットされているシーンは重要だと思いますが…低い評価になるほどの作品とは思わない。イラストも綺麗(個人的に)だと思う…まあ、漫画で原作を完全に再現出来るとは思えないし、仮に出来たとしたら原作を買う人がいなくなる。
無理にとは言わないが、買ってみて微妙だなと感じた人は原作を買うことをお勧めする。★はあくまで個人的評価

本書はＫｅｙ作「智代アフター」をコミックにしたものです。
ＣＬＡＮＮＡＤの智代ストーリーや同作の智代アフターをプレイしていなくても内容が理解出来るように描かれています。
既に他の方も書かれているように、原作智代アフターをプレイし実際に涙した方々からの評価はイマイチになるのではないかと私は思います。それは鷹文や春原といった重要な登場人物がまるで表記されておらず、１巻完結といった制限からか内容が極端に薄いものとなっています。
また巻末における朋也の手術後の場面においては生死がハッキリされなかった原作とは違い、本書ではハッキリと描かれています。ですが、智代アフターが強く心に残っているのはあの終わりを迎え
「朋也はどうなったのか？」
「あの智代の後姿のＣＧで彼女はどういった表情をしているのか？」
「これからの人生、永遠の愛を手にした智代は独りで耐えていけるのか？」
など、想像を掻き立てられたからこそ高い評価を得たのだと私は思います。
本書の終わり方もありと言えばありなのかもしれませんが、原作でも描かれなかった結末を描いてしまうのもどうかと思いました。
〜余談〜
我らの「神なる春原」の神なる名言「僕、この町に戻る場所・・なくしちゃったんだね」くらい描いてほしかった・・。
「・・ありがとう・・お前のおかげでいい人生だったよ」すら描かれていないのはどういうことか。

まず、この【智代アフター】にしろ【CLANNAD】にしろ、せいぜいタイトルくらいは知ってるという程度にしか前持った知識がない者の感想ですので悪しからず(苦笑
感想として、まずは各々のキャラクターに対して無理に個性を作っている印象が強かったです。1巻で完結という制限のせいでこうなったのか分かりませんが、キャラのバックグラウンドがほとんど見えてきませんでしね……。主人公も含めて、なんか全体的に表面的だった感があります
ストーリー展開も少々雑な感じで、良かれ悪かれ話の流れが速いです。まぁ、この点に関しては、後々に実はヒロインの○だったとしてラストに繋がっていくような構成だったので1から10まで駄目だとか不満だとか文句は無いですが……。それでも、やはりもうちょいじっくりと描いて欲しかったなぁと思うところです。これらの出来事を通じて主人公達が成長していくのを描く、そういった比較的大事なシーンであるなら尚の事
ただ、ストーリーは良かったように思います。ラストの件では、読んでいて切なくなりましたし意外と感動できました。ストーリーの出来は、まずまず良かったと思います♪
……ただ、ストーリーが良いってのはつまり原作のゲームが良いって事なわけで、その漫画版としての出来は冒頭でいったような不満からそれほど出来は良くなかったのかなと思います
それから、やはり多少なりとも予備知識はあったほうが、この漫画は楽しめると読んでから思いました(苦笑
