ドロテア4巻では「自惚れ」が印象に残ります。
ドロテアをギュルクが庇い大けがを負ってしまう。
そこで手当を受けた民家のじいさんにドロテアは
戒められるところである。

エルゼ、ドロテア、ギュルク三人は幼なじみであるが
それぞれの思いが交錯していく。

エルゼは、白の家の子供達を逃すことを考え、
ドロテアは、エルゼ、ばあばを助けたい一心で焦り、
ギュルクはドロテアを思い、守れるように強くなる・・・。

そんな強いそれぞれの思いが戦いの中に埋もれてしまいそうで
かき消されてしまいそうな激しい戦闘になります。

そして、ドロテア、エルゼはつかまってしまうと魔女として火刑台に
送られてしまいそうな綱渡りな状況で強く戦い続けますが、
正直はらはらドキドキのストーリー展開で目が離せなくなってきました。

次巻以降さらに激しいストーリーになりそうです。
楽しみでなりません。

　★３の下。
　著者の13冊目にして表題作の長編『ドロテア』の第４巻。
　３巻はなかなかドラマになっていたのですが、ここにきて焦点が曖昧になってしまいました。一つ一つの挿話は悪くないものの、本来描くべき物語のテーマから物語が離れすぎることが多くなり、流れが淀んでしまいます。描きたいことばかりを追ってしまうと大意を見失ってしまいがちになりますので注意していただけたらと思います。
　それらともない、何度も何度もあれこれ決意するわりには、ちょっとしたことで足がすくみ行動が停滞してしまうドロテアに、感情移入できるかどうか微妙なところまできてしまいました。
　エロ漫画では、あれほどキャラを捨て身にさせられる著者ですが、ギュルクも男性としてはかなり女々しい系なので『強さ』がどんどん失われてきています。
　人はそんなに強い生き物ではありませんが決意は時として鋼の盾となります。
　何度も同じレベルでヒロインがグルグル悩み続けていると、その決意さえ霞んでしまいます。
　人の想いの数だけドラマは生まれる必然性をもっているはずです。
　今一度原点に還って、キャラの本質を練り上げて欲しいです。
　大意を以って先を進めて欲しいです。
　完結したとき、自分の言いたいことは言い尽くせたと胸を張れるように、テーマの優先順位だけはしっかり肝に銘じてくれればと思います。

　グリム童話にはまったく敵いませんよ。
　まだまだダメじゃん。
