　★３の下。
　著者の７冊目にして表題作の長編『ドロテア』の第２巻。
　エロの方で人気が出てきたためお蔵入りにならず２ヶ月連続での刊行になりました。
　ファンとしてはありがたい限りです。
　本来なら１巻でじっくり説明すべきことを、描きたいシーンに合わせながら後出し的に書き進めているためドラマとしての意外性とか人と人が紡ぎ出す感動とかがあまり出てきません。
　いまさら言ったところでどうにもなりませんが、もっともっと先を見据えてプロットを練り込んで欲しいです。
　作画的には安定期に入ってきました。
　アクションシーンはまだまだ迫力不足ですが作画的な魅力は確実に増してきてます。
　ドロテアが戦火に赴くことにより、人間関係から生まれる心理的ドラマも多少は楽しめるレベルになってきました。
　それでもまだまだネタの熟成期間が短すぎるため厚みは足りません。
　作画優先のファンタジー漫画好きな方以外にはまだまだお薦めしにくいです。

　だが彼女の前には戦場での現実が待っていた。
　そしてその頃、彼女の故郷でも・・・
　彼女は敵をおびき寄せる餌として魔女と呼ばれる決意をする。
　彼女の運命はオルレアンの魔女の再来となるのか、
　今後に期待のできる作品です。

ドロテア2巻で私は、第７話「赤い景色」
が印象に残る。
ドロテアが傭兵として戦場に赴き、
最初の戦場で、戦争とはどういう物か
現実を知るところである。
まあ、戦争はいつの時代も大差ないと
いうことか。

第2巻としてやはり、ジャンヌ・ダルクの
名が出てきたのはありきたりではあるが、
話しの展開から致し方ないことか。

描画、絵柄共に高レベルなのは、cuvieの
過去作(18禁)を知っている方は、問題なく
読めます。
ぜひ第1巻から読んでいただきたいです。

ただ、中世ヨーロッパ、魔女、傭兵という
切り口はありがちなストーリー展開になり
がちなので、2巻では、どうなることやら
まだわかりません。
ただ、純粋にドロテアの気持ちの揺れ動き
がどうストーリー展開に反映されるのか
これから楽しみです。
