　「三色ボールペンで読む日本語」（角川文庫）に続く第2弾です．
　内容は他の評者に譲るとして，2冊のうちのどちらか一冊を買うとすれば，私は断然「日本語」の方です．そちらの方が著者の熱血がひしひしと伝わってきます．同様に，これから2冊とも買おうという方にも，初めどちらから読むべきかと問われれば，やはり「日本語」の方をお薦めします．「情報活用術」は，三色方式の拡張版・応用編と思えばよいでしょう．

話は単純。とっても大事なことは赤色で、まあまあ大事なことは青色で、ほかの人にとっては大事でないかもしれないけど自分の感性に響いたものは緑色で、とルールを作って資料を読み、またメモを取れば、情報収集・加工能力が格段にアップするということを延々と述べています。確かにこれを実行して以来、私自身、会議でも要点が掴みやすく、また「鋭い指摘を受けてしまいましたが・・・」と相手に言われるような発言が出来る確立が格段に増えたと思う。そういった意味で値段以上の価値は認めます。また、これだけ単純なネタで一冊書けてしまう斉藤氏の文章構成力も認めます。が、ここまでひとつのネタで延々と話を膨らませて、ベストセラーを出せるって、ちょっと甘くない？？って言うのが正直な読後感です（買っちゃう私も私ですが・・・・・）。

『シンプルだから実践的だ。複雑なものは長続きしない。』
これは作品の中に記されている文章の引用なのですが、三色ボールペン
を導入・活用する事はシンプルかつ平易でありながら、極めて実践的で
有効性が高いと実感。

読了してから三色ボールペンを活用するのではなく、この作品を読み進
める時点で三色ボールペンを導入・活用練習すれば、読了後には自分の活用ツールとして残ると思います。
しかも、かなり自然な形で。

『赤・青・緑の使い分け』P38~41をさらっと読み、
『キーワードを丸で囲む』および付帯するP115~123に目を通し、
それから三色ボールペンを握りしめ、目次から読み進めると、戸惑いが
少なく効率的だと私は考えます。

情報整理マニアの方には物足りない作品です。
マニアの美学は記されていません。
記されているのは、実践的な技術です。
誰でも実践できる情報活用技術がこの本にあります。
自分の関心・好奇心を拡げる技術・活用する技術がこの本にあります。
