オペラシリーズは、ビーンズ文庫の中でも毛色の違うものであると思います。
文章が重厚であり、作品の雰囲気も重い。
ですが、今回の短編集は本編シリーズよりは軽い雰囲気があり読みやすいと思います。個人的には、バシュラールの幼少期を描かれた作品がお気に入りで、できる兄達に囲まれながら愛されて育っていく彼の姿が微笑ましかったです。

短編集の中でも、バシュラールの子供の頃の
物語が良かった。
美貌の詩人ソラとの出会いや、
親兄弟との関係など、丁寧に書かれているとは
思う。

最終巻の直前に７つのお話の短編集です。
７つのお話のうちの３つはカナギ・ソラ・ミリアンの旅。時期としては1作目のあと、3人が旅を始めた頃です。初期の頃のようなカナギとソラの会話（漫才？）は健在で気軽に読めます。
その他にバシュラールの少年時代が３つとリュリュとデスクトラの出会いの話が１つ。
他の方のレビューのようにバシュラールの話はいいです。本編でふれられているバシュラールとソラの因縁、少年時代のお話です。１つはバシュラールとソラの出会い、１つはバシュラールの兄弟の死、最後の１つはバシュラールとラングレーの話。成長していくバシュラール、しかしソラとの因縁は続いていく。面白さと切なさがあります。泣けました。
本編好きな方なら読んで損はないと思います。
