登場人物は１０歳のお姫様以外に個性があまり感じられない。
ストーリーは安心して読めるものの、惹きつけられる部分があまりない。
ただ、後に書かれたものであるという最初の部分が本編よりいい。
書くごとに成長する、筆者の今後に期待が感じられる一冊。

アダルシャン王国の王の弟・アレクシードは「黒い悪魔」と恐れられる常勝の将軍。大国であるカストリア帝国をやぶったことから、和睦条件としての政略結婚を兄から告げられる。嫁いできたカストリア帝国の第６皇女・ユスティニアはまだ１０歳の少女だった。

政治上の駆け引きに不慣れなアレクシードと、幼いながらもしっかりとした意志を持つユスティニアとの１０歳差のたどたどしい関係が愛らしいですｖ腕白なユスティニア姫や、意地悪な兄である王に振り回されているアレクシードにも共感がもてちゃいます。でも個人的には兄である王様の企み深い策略にやられた感じがする作品です（笑）

読みやすいし、わかりやすいし、彩雲国並に表現うまいしなかなか納得行く作品だった。ビーンズ小説賞＜読者賞＞をとる作品はやっぱかなりおもしろい。はやくあつめてしまいたいな〜
