　言ってしまえば、天才同士の「バトルロワイヤル」ゲーム。
　愉しいのは、ゲームのルールを参加者が追加する箇所。
　ステージ毎にクリア条件があり、それに追加して指定された参加者がルールを追加出来る。
　その追加されたルールの意図や抜け穴を見抜いて、そのステージを突破しないといけない。
　これはとてもとても魅力的なアイデア。

　加えて、物語の構成に対する工夫が上手い。
　主人公二人でゲームに参加しているにも関わらず、ゲーム開始前に会っただけで、
その後は会うことも、話し合うこともないという点。
　ペアで勝ち進まないといけないのに、この展開により緊張感が増しているかと。

「ムシウタ」シリーズでも知られる岩井恭平のデビュー作。その緻密な設定と展開、謎解きの面白さでは、比類するものはない。また、キャラクターも非常に魅力的であり、個性的。心に決意を秘めた人たちと、運命に引かれたヒロイン。最高最強無敵の頭脳に挑む彼らの姿は、読者を興奮の渦に引きずりこむ。絶対に「買い」の一冊です。
