「未来予報~」は嘘か誠か予知能力のある友人により意識させられたあま
り接点のなかった女の子との赤い糸にようやく素直に向き合えた時、初め
て自分の大切なものが見え進路が切り開けるという物語そのものの面白さ
と感動に交え著者自身が将来への不安や危機感を抱いていた時期に書かれ

たせいもあってか成長過程の若者の心理が上手く織り込まれていたと思う。
「手を握る-」はドジな泥棒が偶然掴んだ女の子の手によって思いがけない
チャンスも掴んでしまったというコミカル風な一話。「フィルム-」はホラ
ー要素たっぷりでありつつ最後は優しい目線での幕を閉じ方を。

ラストを締めくくる「失はれる物語」だけは今までにない切なさと言うより
恐怖を感じた趣の違う一編。「ただ生きているだけ」の恐怖と孤独をシンプ
ルにも鮮明に描き出している。
もう一つのお楽しみと言っていい著者のあとがきは、日記のような素直な
気持ちが書かれており作品とのギャップが楽しめる！

高校時代に読んだ本の中で、もっとも印象に残った本でした。何度も読み返し、その度せつなくなると同時に暖かな気持ちになれました。孤独を抱えている青年層の方に、ぜひ読んでもらいたいです。大切な仲間に出会えますように…

有り得ないだろう話なのに、有り得るような気になり、読後、こみ上げてくる感動。
乙一さん特有の、謎めき、独立しているように思える出来事が、最後につながるスピード感のあるストーリー。それなのに、時間が丁寧に流れる表現は素晴らしいと思います。孤独さえ、その人の温かい優しさなのだと感じさせてくれるような、人との関わりっていいものだなと思える作品でした。一つ一つが程よい長さなのも読みやすいです。
