　この作品の最大の魅力はキャラクターにあると思います。スリで守銭奴のマユリ、大貴族の嫡子で能天気なサイ、元殺し屋で「虚しい・・・」が口癖のトライム・・・。初めてこの本を手にした時、物語に登場する全ての人物が生き生きと動き回ってる、そんな印象を受けました。登場人物一人一人の個性に注目して読んでみて下さい。

ストーリーは、シリーズの途中からだんだんと読めてきてしまうのですが、読書後に暖かいものが胸に残る作品でした。オススメします。

『空みて歩こう〈1〉』です。
女の子を主人公とする三部作という意味では、前作『星の大地』と同じですが、こちらは前作と違って緩い作風です。全体としてコミカルで明るく進行します。
主人公のスリで守銭奴のマユリもですが、それよりもマスコットのコウモリがかわいかったです。
貴族の息子のサイが主人公の相棒ですが、このキャラ、女性読者に相当人気があったようです。「サイのような恋人がほしい」と言われていたようです。
もう一人の同行者は、虚しい、が口癖の元殺し屋。
サイはどうも実の父親に命を狙われているらしくて……というストーリーです。

三部作ですし、ストーリーとしては大きな意外性があるわけでもなく、キャラの魅力で緩く楽しむシリーズです。
いかにも初期のライトノベル、って感じですね。
