知人に以前から薦められてはいましたが、最近やっと手に取って
読んでみました、この千里眼シリーズ。

最近の本を読んで、新シリーズと旧シリーズがあり
旧シリーズが改訂されて再発売されている事も最近知ったぐらいの
松岡さん初心者ですが、この本は今まで読んできた5〜6冊の中で
一番印象に残りました。

ネタバレになるので詳しい事は記しませんが、事件の発端がまさかそれかよ！
という結構疑似科学的なオチでした。もちろんフィクションですから
常識ではあり得ない原因であっても別にいいのですが、著者自身が
「リアルを追求して書いている」という趣旨の発言をあとがきなどで
されていたと思うので、自分としてはそれに少し矛盾するのでは？と感じた
ところもあり、☆一個マイナスです。

ですがストーリーはすごく惹きこまれます。これとは別の巻のあとがきで
別の書評家が「ぼくらの7日間戦争に似て非なるもの」と評していましたが
私はまさに現代版のそれだと思いました。
社会の、大人の矛盾を突きそれを自分たちの力で解決に持っていく物語は
自分の高校時代を思い起こさせる、自分も行動しなければと
喚起させられる一冊でした。
この巻ばかりは、岬美由紀ではなく氏神高校の学生が主人公でしたねｗ

失業中の幸太郎は、極端な人格障害を持つ麗香に、ハローワークで知り合ったばっかりに、麗香が、設立した会社を手伝う羽目に。更に幕張メッセで新車を盗むことになってしまう。
一方、美由紀は、派遣先のハローワークで麗香に手を焼く牧野に担当を変わって貰う様、依頼され、ハローワークに向かうのだが・・・。

そして、メフィスト・コンサルティングによってじわじわと暴かれる岬　美由紀の過去。
続編は９月に。

９月には旧シリーズも全面以降改稿されて発売！このペースにはただ驚くばかりです。

いやはや松岡先生のリーダビリティはすごいです。

新シリーズはページ数も少なく細かな描写を省いて
贅肉をそぎ落としているにも関わらず、
内容は決してチープなものにはなっていない！

前半はテンポよく、
マニアックなネタを織り交ぜながら
読者を楽しませてくれることでしょう。

後半は一転「人格障害」について重く取り上げている。
また、ヒロイン岬美由紀の隠された過去の一端が明かされています。
次回作への伏線も抜かりない。

欠点をあえて挙げるとするなら、
そのリーダビリティーゆえ直ぐに読み終えてしまうこと。
早く次の作品が読みたくてたまりません。
