美由紀が規則違反を犯して、自衛隊航空機を動かすというのにはもうさすがに飽きました。隔月での出版はファンにとっては嬉しい試みかもしれませんが、以前の出版社で出されていた頃に比べて、著しく質が落ちていると感じました。氏神高校の抵抗を例に出すことで、現在のゆとり教育を批判されているのはわかりますが、籠城をした生徒が「世界史の受講」や「大学入試」にこだわり過ぎているため、「独立国家」になった意味が全く見いだせませんでした。私はこのシリーズには、いい意味で荒唐無稽な展開と心理学上の少しの蘊蓄に醍醐味を感じていたので、今回の説教くさくて小さくまとまった話にはちょっと辟易しました。年に2冊程度で良いので、もっときちんと練り上げたものを書いて欲しいです。

「ミッドタウン」に続いて時事問題を扱い、娯楽エンターテインメントへと昇華させた。それがだんだんと新シリーズの魅力となってきている。しかし、新しい事柄を扱うだけ古びるのが早いのも事実である。読んでいて違和感を感じないためにも、早めに読んでおくのが得策である。
もうここまで読んでくると美由紀が旧シリーズと同じようになってきているように思われた。ダーク･ピットにようになんでも出来るし、なんでも知っている。
冒頭はF1使ってのチェイスで、また勝手に戦闘機を使用。やっぱり美由紀はスーパー･ヒロインとして描くほうが楽なのか。

ああ、結局ラストはこうなるのだろうと思っていたらその通りになる。やっぱり正義は勝つという展開である。もうそれには飽きてしまった。
また、「ミッドタウンタワーの迷宮」は敵の狙いや攻防戦でハラハラさせてくれたけれど、本作はそれには及ばず。ヤマ場はどこ?という疑問が浮かんでしまう。2ヶ月しか準備期間がないということで、つくりが駆け足になってしまうのだろう。ゆっくりと推敲を重ねて良作を(1年1作でもいいので)執筆して欲しいと思った。

多作は結構だけど、その分、最近は乱暴ですね。もう少しじっくりネタ繰りしてはどうでしょうか？。個人的には頻繁な過去作への改版も好きじゃない。ましてや、ヒロインがどんどん、単なる自分勝手の我儘女に成り下がってきて、ほんとに、泣くわ喚くわ。もはや当初の魅力は消えうせ、こんな女がそばにいたら、いくら美人でもうっとおしい。ほんと辟易する。
本作にしても、あまりにあんまりな理屈。。。そんな秒オーダー程度の酸素欠乏でそんなことになるなら、昔からの顔付け息止め競争なんかしたらとんでもないことになってしまいますよね。
今や映画的な爽快感も無い。もう随分長いこと引き際を探ってきましたが、そろそろ本気で松岡ワールドから手を引こうかな。
