主人公・湯浅茂央は超有名進学校のエリート中のエリート。
しかし勉強だけで夢も何もない毎日に疑問を感じながら日々を送っていた。
そんなある日学校が武装集団によって占拠され、担任教師を人質にされた茂央のクラスだけが校内に残される。
犯人の要求はひとつ、“校内に隠された2000ピースのパズルを48時間以内に探し出し、完成させること”
互いを競争相手としか思わないクラスメイト達、犯人の目的も正体もわからないこの状況で
パズルを完成させ、担任教師を救うことができるのか？

著者はあの「リアル鬼ごっこ」の山田悠介さん。
散々騒がれて知名度は一級品ですし、お店で平積みされていたので購入しました。
時間内にパズルを探し出すというゲーム的な設定がとても魅力的なのですがなんとも話に中身がない・・・
せっかくの設定なのに、パズルの存在もクラスメイトの性格もその必然性がまったくない。
なので中盤からは拍子抜けの連続です。結末もなんだかすっきりしない。

著者の作品は、この本に限らずタイトルやデザイン,ストーリー設定が素晴らしいだけに内容の薄さが残念でならないです。
ただ、好奇心をくすぐるタイトルや、スラスラ読める文体は著者の最大の長所だと思います。
今後大作が誕生するのでは、と楽しみです。

まず
内容が薄い。
展開が分かりやすい。
途中、飽きて読む気がしませんでした。

そして何よりひどいのは
文章力

何を言いたいんだか全く分からない部分がありました。


はっきり言って面白くない作品ですね。

世間で騒がれている理由が分かりません。

あとがきも含めて、読むとまるで自分の中学生の時の卒業文集を読むような恥ずかしさを感じます。
トリックもストーリーも、意外性のある展開もまったくありません。
