ホームレスと孤独な少年が邪悪な力に立ち向かう話。社会から疎外された者が特殊な力を持って危機に立ち向かう話は昔から多く、特段目新しい内容はないはずだが、読み終わって数ヶ月経過した後でもストーリーが記憶に残っている。

大変恥ずかしい話であるが、自分でも何を高く評価しているのだかわからない。でも、ホラーを愛する人には一読を勧めたい。

　ホラーとして恐怖もあり、グロテスクな感じも強いけど、その怖い人や物が何だか異常すぎて滑稽にみえるほどでした。
｢だからつまらない」という訳ではなく、ストーリーの展開がテンポよく変わって面白く、終わり方も自分的には良いと思いました。
長めの話ですが、読み終えられると思います。

誰にでも怖がられるものを目指したそうです．
確かに，恐怖満載の小説です．

呪い女のエピソードや,暗闇で自らの妄想によって恐怖を増してしまう描写は，
確かに怖いと思いました．
ホラー作品で主人公が自ら怖いところに行くのは，
そこに何もないことを確かめたいからだそうです．
ちょっと納得しました．
怖いことばかり考える自分に，ストップをかけたくなるのかも知れません．

しかし，グロイ描写があまりにも多いため,あまり現実味がありませんでした．
これだけグロイものが続くと,慣れてしまうのかも知れません．

恐怖満載すぎて，逆に怖くなくなってしまったので，☆3個です．
